I prefer to use very natural dishwasher detergent and though this is better than mainstream brands, it isn't quite as clean (ingredient wise) as I'd like. But - I tried many natural brands and they just didn't get my dishes clean. Now my Heath Ceramic coffee mugs are finally clean rather than having a constant coating of coffee stains in the glaze!! We still have to make sure we scrape or rinse off our dishes but I think that has more to do with the fact that we have Fisher & Paykel dish drawers (tho it's much better with this detergent!), which I love but I think because they only have a bottom sprayer they just don't clean as well as dishwashers that also have the top sprayer. I also find this costly and so I bulk buy when there is a discount and would prefer that these wouldn't be packaged in the thick plastic container.
