I've only had these a few days and 4 of the knives already have rust looking/discolored spots. I think they would easily clean but I don't have time for high maintenance silverware. They are also really scratched up after just using a lightly abraded sponge that doesn't scratch crystal or other silverware we use. BUT even though I have those comments to share for other potential purchasers, this is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous silverware. Perfect chinoiserie look. I love that they were heavyweight and do not feel cheap at all. If you have time for more delicate pieces or these aren't your everyday, you will be in good shape. So beautiful but treat them delicately and I would say you will be very pleased :)I absolutely love this silverware set. The Bamboo design fits with my coastal decor perfectly and the weight is just right. Not too heavy but doesn't feel light and flimsy. I've washed several times by dishwasher and hand and they look like the day I bought them.
