We have only used this grill pan a half dozen times, but about 9 months ago, we purchased a set of Swiss Diamond pans from Amazon that we use on a daily basis. These are the only nonstick pans that we've every owned (and believe me, we've owned a bunch)that show virtually no signs of wear, discoloration or peeling. I generally use non-metallic spatulas and spoons, although the manufacturer says that you can use metal. I had read Consumers Reports about the various nonstick pans and looked at the recommendations. What convinced me to try these Swiss Diamond pans were reviews from customers that were furious that the top rated pans had gone to pot (I couldn't resist that) after a few months of heavy use. I'm sure that the grill pan will perform as well as the other seven pots and pans that we've used for the past 9 months. I doubt if we will ever buy any other nonstick pan. One note: the manufacturer recommends that you preheat all of these pans for several minutes before using. That is good advice.I love this pan for cooking all my meats. I recommend it. it's worth the price. This is the second grill pan i purchased. The first one lasted a very long time. I needed to replace it. I was glad to see it was sold on Amazon.We have several Swiss Diamond products and really like them all. Very good grill pan, It prepares good and tasty meals.Have used it 3 or 4 times now. Really heavy, so be prepared. Works well, with the wall height, much less splatter than my other grill pands. Cleans up well with a brush.You could not ask for a better grill pan! I found it from attending cooking classes and the chefs of Charleston were raving about it. Yes! It is the best grill pan of all. No worries about metal utensils or dishwashers. It is made from diamonds and can heat up hot enough for the best sear of those steaks!
