The grill arrived missing 2 pans, so I messaged the seller. No reply, so I turned to Amazon, hoping it would urge the seller to take action. No dice ... although to its credit, the rep did put in a refund request. The thing is, I wasn't after a refund. I just wanted the complete set that I paid for.Right after that, the seller finally responded. I explained the issue, even gladly offered to have Amazon halt the refund process, if they would just send the missing pans. They said no. Alrighty — then could I buy these pans? Where/how can I do that? I felt like I was begging them to take my money. They still refused to help.I can get other pans, but not with wood handles like this. Matching the set would be great, but more importantly, I don't like the idea of using hot metal pans with plastic handles. That was the reason I bought this specific raclette grill to begin with. So I'm sitting here, still with an incomplete set, but now with the extra hassle of scouring Amazon, Google, Facebook, eBay, even Etsy and other sites, searching for suitable wood-handled replacements. (If anyone knows where to get them, please let me know! I've literally been on the hunt for weeks.)I thought about using the refund to get another one of these, just for the pans. But the price went up and it won't cover that. Also, I don't have room for an extra appliance.And this is how a minor issue turned into a major hassle.Anyway, as for the product itself ...It works pretty well. Although the appliance does feel a little rickety, that's typical for tabletop grills of this type and price point. The wood also feels a little rougher than I expected, including on the handles of the mini pans (at least the ones that I did receive). Some fine-grain sandpaper can smooth out ome of those edges out, though, so it's not a big deal.The grill takes a few minutes to heat up, then offers decent performance. I do wish the max heat level was a little higher, and that the narrow top grill was tiny bit wider. But I can work with all that. Once it's on the table, it does the job and looks nice doing it ... or at least it would, if there weren't empty gaps where a set of pans should be.CONCLUSION:I started with a one-star review, because of the incomplete set and frustrating service experience. But the grill does work. Sure, it's not a premium 5-star experience, but I wasn't expecting it to be. So that earns it another star. In fact, if I had to do it over again, I might even purchase this item again ... though probably not from this seller.YOUR TAKEAWAY: If you buy this grill, take excellent care of the parts and pans. Because apparently there's no way to get replacements.Love this grill! It's so cute for a casual night dinner or small dinner party. The most people I've done is 3 for now, but I think you can Prob do 5-6 depending on what you're making. The grill isn't super big. Overall I think it's a nice thing to have to cook many things at once and have fun with friends and family!I am. born entertainer, and when I saw this set, I was very excited to test it out. I have a close friend who is married to a Swiss Mrs. and I was looking for a fun way to include her at our get togethers, since she has to deal with burgers and tacos every time she sees us!Well this really seemed to have hit the mark. We has a large mix of meats, veggies and cheeses. The cheeses are really the stars in this type of grilling, and it was awesome. Sadly Raclette cheese in Texas is not exactly an inexpensive option, so we did a few, I personally am a big fan of Muenster.That said, this grill worked great, the way it pops off to wash it wonderful, and more electric cookers should implement it. Just pop it off a nd into the dish washer, or hand wash. Heated quickly and broiled well.This COKLAI Korean BBQ Grill is one of my favorites because it has wooden parts, which not only looks nice but also safer to handle. Now, the wood isn't as easy to clean as the metal, though, and does have a tendency to mold over time if water gets to it, since I think it's porous, so I don't think the wood would stay as clean or as long as the metal, but in the mean time, it looks much nicer but a bit heavier. It has 8 paddles and 8 spatulas, and it's a plug in. I like it overall, but it's also a bit more expensive than other competitive brands.I found this Raclette Table Grill to be excellent for either a romantic evening, time with friends or any other special occasion. The performance of this grill is smooth as it melts the cheese than can then be used to pour on other items being grilled or used as a cheese dip. We have grilled steak, chicken and shrimp successfully on this grill as well as assorted vegetables like potato pieces, Brussel's Sprouts and mushrooms. The grill is of good quality and the trays heat evenly. I am very pleased with this grill.This is really amazing! Everything you can cook and not to mention they are all separated so nothing is mixing!!This product just had to be taken out the box and ready to use very simple.J'ai acheté celui-ci parce qu'il était à 70% en rabais! It would be nice with slightly deeper trays, but still functional as is. Made dinner and breakfast with small groups of picky eaters, and it was wonderful way everyone got what they wanted. Would highly recommend it for smaller groups, so each person can get at least two trays.One of our inserts came with rust on it already which is pretty disappointing, maybe the seller can send a replacement part. Otherwise, all looks good. Look forward to using it.Heating element isn't consistent, otherwise totally awesome.Wow
